If you aren't aware there are two versions of this controller. The original version has silver joysticks and uses a 7.4V lipo battery. Unfortunately this battery is no longer available. This lack of a replacement is the inspiration for this site. The second version has black joysticks and uses a 3.7V li-ion battery. Replacements for this battery are readily available, although there are some alternatives that I will list. The second issue is that the chargers for these are not compatible. Meaning if you have the charger and cable for a version 2 it won't charge a version 1. If like me you got yours with a Parrot Bebop 2, it uses the same charger that charges the drone's battery. So this means you can't charge them both at the same time unless you happen to have a second charger. While you can find them on eBay they can be rather pricey. This is what lead me to eventually swap out the battery in my second gen Skycontroller 2.
